FEATURES UPDATES FOR THE MONTH OF APRIL,2023

April was our busiest month so far, but it gave us great results. After enjoying the Easter holidays we were back in the trenches. We were on the final leg of launching some highly anticipated platform improvements. 

The team had been working on these for months to further enhance platform performance and create a collaborative ecosystem that does more than just solving basic ITAM issues. 

Our hard work finally paid off and we are back with some exciting announcements about new integrations and feature upgrades on AssetRemix. Let’s check them out!

AssetRemix’s Zapier Integration

AssetRemix is excited to announce its latest integration with Zapier which will turn your workspace into a collaborative ecosystem. You can connect with more than 5000 apps you work with daily to create automated workflows for high performance and better productivity. It saves you time and adds agility to your business processes.

Using this integration, users can take action within the AssetRemix platform based on activities executed in other apps and vice-versa. All you have to do is create a Zap for each workflow and start automating.     

Restore Deleted Users

Let’s say you deleted a few users from your workspace by mistake, how do you fix that? Our new feature takes care of your predicament by restoring deleted users. First you have to tweak your settings.   

  • Go to Reports under Asset Management and customize your Report Builder

  • Make it a Searchable Report.

  • Select User as your Entity.

  • Under Search Conditions you will find a new option called Deleted

  • You can add more fields as per your need and Create.

Once you have customized your new Report format, it becomes easy to trace and restore a deleted user. 

  • After deleting a user, go to Reports

  • Select Deleted Users

  • Click Restore and confirm your action by hitting Yes.

The User will be restored along with their old passwords, permissions, log-in details, etc. We are planning to expand this functionality to assets as well in the coming days. 

Asset Bundle Restrictions

We always try to implement feature improvements based on our user feedback. If you want something we will make it happen. Likewise, this feature was a request from our users where they wanted to limit an asset to a single bundle. This is how you can make it happen now:

  • Go to Settings under Asset Management

  • There is a new option ‘Restrict asset to a single bundle’

  • Enable the setting for your workspace

Now if you try to add an asset that is already in a bundle, it will be prevented by the asset bundle restrictions setting. The feature allows you to keep your assets more organized. 

Commenting Via Email Replies

Our Help Desk Email Ticketing system is up and running successfully. We made a few improvements to streamline the process of adding comments via email. 

Use the unique email id to send a support request via email. Once the ticket is generated and assigned to an admin, you will receive a confirmation email with the option ‘Open or Reply to this Email to add a Comment’.

Just reply to the mail and it will be added to your ticket as a comment, notifying everyone involved in the ticket resolution.     

Bug Fixes and Improvements   

Some other bug fixes and improvements include:

  • Signup for HelpDesk only. 

  • Ticket management for promotional accounts fixed. 

  • Outbound webhooks fixed.

  • Email to tickets fixed. 

  • More match options for filters and reports.
