June was over in the blink of an eye, with the team working on some significant updates to the AssetRemix platform. We wanted to wrap it up fast before the team went on a short 4th of July break. It might not look as much as last month’s releases, but we had to put in a lot of work to perfect these changes. Let’s do a quick walk-through of all that’s new in AssetRemix.
Asset Classification by Department
AssetRemix allows enterprises to classify and manage assets by their location. Now, you can categorize them by departments under each location. If you go to locations, each will show the number of departments that the place has, enabling asset data clarification under specific departments (only if the location has multiple departments). This only works for locations with multiple departments. This feature works for both bulk creation and CSV uploads. Additionally, you can filter the search of your asset by departments, not just the location.
New Tickets Add-on
Under Help Desk, we have Tickets, which allow you to create support requests. We have added the Related tab to this feature which displays the queries and answers related to a ticket. Just click Related and it will pull in the tickets and comments (date and time-wise). As of now, this is only for the agents. We are planning to make this feature accessible to users as well.
Updated Reports
We have made a few tweaks to the Reports feature, adding search and filter along with Auto-generated bulk asset action report (about bulk check-out). Previously the tab would pull up all reports simultaneously, which took longer. Now you can customize the number of reports you want to pull up at a time (like 10), reducing the page loading time.
Bug Fixes
- Bulk document assign fix
- CSV mapping now handles uploaded filenames as custom values
- Email to ticket auto ticket assign rule bug fixed
- Directory sync fixed in case of the missing email field
Well, that’s all the releases and bug fixes for June. We will keep you updated on all the new features and tweaks happening in AssetRemix.
